I use cast-iron pans pretty much all of the time for all of my cooking because they are so versatile and do nearly everything really well. I even got a new cast-iron grill pan for Christmas that is great for steaks, burgers and the like. Some people shy away from cast iron because they aren’t quite sure if they are going to use it right and I have posted articles before about cast iron.
